Materials are heavyweight 510gsm ripstop PVC, black back (blockout) fabric and backlit fabric, printed on 3.2m wide rolls, so a banner can be 3.2m by 10m, 20m or longer in one section. PVC banners wider than 3.2m in both directions are made by bonding sections together, and fabric is made up to 3.2m wide at any length. Finishing options are eyelets, hanging loops, Velcro (hook and loop) and double-sided tape. Book by 9pm for same day or overnight production, delivery and installation. We print on 3.2m wide rolls, so one side can be up to 3.2m and the other as long as you need: 10m, 20m or more in a single section, with no join. PVC banners can be any size: if both sides are over 3.2m, we bond sections together. Fabric backdrops can’t be bonded, so they’re up to 3.2m on one side and any length on the other. For anything bigger in both directions, choose PVC. Every banner is made to the exact size you need, to the centimetre. If you’re not sure what size to order, measure the space you’re filling: the inside of the truss, the width of the stage or the length of the fence.

- We deliver it, or deliver and fit it, the same day or overnight. Our DBS-checked installers bring their own access towers for high-level hanging.

What’s the biggest banner you can print?
We print on 3.2m wide rolls, so a banner can be 3.2m by 10m, 20m or longer in one section, with no join. For 510gsm ripstop PVC there’s no limit at all: if both sides are over 3.2m, we bond sections together. Fabric can’t be bonded, so fabric backdrops are up to 3.2m on one side and any length on the other.
What material should I use for an event backdrop?
Use black back fabric if it will be photographed or filmed, because it’s matte, glare-free and nothing shows through. Use 510gsm ripstop PVC for outdoors, very large sizes or the lowest cost. Use backlit fabric if it will be lit from behind.
What backdrop is best for film, TV or photography?
Black back (blockout) fabric. Its matte surface doesn’t reflect studio lights or flash, it blocks anything behind it, and it folds for transport without leaving permanent creases.
What’s the difference between eyelets and loops?
Eyelets are metal rings for tying a banner to fences, frames or truss with cable ties or bungees. Loops are sleeves along the edge for sliding a pole or bar through, so the banner hangs evenly.
Can I stick a banner straight onto a wall or panel?
Yes. Choose double-sided tape for a permanent fix, or Velcro (hook and loop) if you want to take it down and reuse it.
What size is a press or media wall?
The most common sizes are 3m x 2m, 3m x 2.25m and 3m x 2.5m, in matte black back fabric so there’s no glare in photos. We make them to any size.
Can you print backdrops overnight for a film shoot?
Yes. We print 24/7 and can deliver to studios and locations before your call time. Book by 9pm for overnight production and delivery.
Is a PVC banner OK outdoors?
Yes. Our 510gsm ripstop PVC is waterproof, tough and tear-resistant, and is the standard choice for fences, scaffolding and outdoor events. With eyelets it fixes securely in place.
