What is same day SEG printing?
A silicone edge graphic is a printed fabric panel with a slim silicone strip stitched around its edges. People often spell it “silicon edge graphics” — it’s the same product. You push the strip into a groove in an aluminium frame or lightbox, and the fabric pulls tight and flat with no visible fixings. When you want a new design, you pull the old fabric out and push the new one in. The frame stays the same, so updating a display costs far less than replacing rigid boards.

Measuring an SEG frame
- Measure centre of groove to centre of groove, width then height. Don’t measure the outside of the frame.
- Most old SEG fabric has its size printed on a label along the edge. A photo of that label is often all we need.
- If you know the frame brand and model, tell us and we’ll work to the manufacturer’s spec.

What are silicon edge graphics?
“Silicon edge graphics” is a common spelling of silicone edge graphics (SEG). They’re printed fabric panels with a silicone strip sewn around the edge that pushes into a grooved aluminium frame or lightbox, giving a tight, seamless finish.
Should I order backlit or black back fabric?
Order backlit if your frame has lights inside it. Order black back (blockout) if it doesn’t, or if it stands in front of a window or bright background, so nothing shows through the print.
Can you deliver and fit fabric graphics as well as print them?
Yes. Our own team delivers and installs across Bucks, Herts and Beds, and into London and Birmingham. We have in-house access towers for high-level work, and our fitters are enhanced DBS checked.
Can you do urgent backdrops for a school or college event?

Which finish should I use for a shell scheme stand?
Velcro (hook and loop) is the usual choice for shell scheme panels. It’s quick to fit, easy to reposition, and you can reuse the graphics. Double-sided tape works if you won’t need to move them.
