40m of Forecourt Banner Backdrop & Office Signage for a Car Dealership
The Brief
Get Set Motors in Aylesbury needed to smarten up the full length of their car forecourt in one go — 40 metres of fencing that had been sitting bare, doing nothing for the site’s presentation or its brand. They wanted a continuous backdrop running the length of the boundary to screen the fencing, tidy up the look of the whole forecourt, and give every car parked in front of it a consistent, branded backdrop for online listings and passing trade. Alongside that, the site’s office building needed proper signage — clear, durable identification at the entrance and around the building that would hold up outdoors day in, day out.
What We Did
For the boundary, we produced and installed 40 metres of 2m-high PVC banner, printed as a continuous branded run and fixed along the full length of the fence line. Running it as one consistent backdrop rather than a row of separate banners meant no visible breaks in the branding from one end of the forecourt to the other — every vehicle parked against it, and every photo taken for a listing, gets the same clean, on-brand background. The banner material and fixings were chosen to cope with being outdoors permanently, standing up to wind loading along that length of fence without sagging or tearing at the eyelets.
For the office building, banner wasn’t the right material — that signage needed to look and perform like permanent building signage rather than event or forecourt graphics. We produced printed aluminium composite board for the main office signs, giving a rigid, weatherproof, professional finish for anything long-term and highly visible, and used Foamex board for supporting signage around the site where a lighter, lower-cost board was the more practical choice. Printing across three different substrates — banner, aluminium, and Foamex — meant matching colours and branding precisely across materials that all take print very differently, so the whole site reads as one consistent identity rather than a mix of ad hoc signs added over time.
Installation was scheduled and carried out on-site as one job, so the forecourt banner and the building signage all went up together rather than the site being partly finished for a period in between.
The Result
The client now has a forecourt that looks fully finished from the road in, with a continuous branded backdrop the length of the site instead of bare fencing, and office signage that matches it in branding and holds up to being outdoors permanently. The consistency across materials — banner, aluminium, and Foamex — means the site reads as one properly branded premises rather than a collection of separate signs, and every car on that forecourt now gets a clean, on-brand backdrop for photos and passing trade alike.
