New Shop Fascia & Door Etch for GoodOaks, Park Street
The Brief
GoodOaks Homecare wanted a new frontage for their premises on Park Street, just south of St Albans. As a care provider, first impressions matter. Families visiting the office need to feel reassured before they walk through the door. The brief was a fascia that looks professional and established from the road, plus a door treatment that brands the entrance and still gives the people working inside some privacy.
What We Did
For the main sign, we made a new fascia from aluminium composite panels, printed and finished in the GoodOaks branding. Aluminium composite is our usual choice for shop fascias for these reasons:
- It’s rigid and weatherproof.
- It keeps a flat, clean finish for years without warping or fading.
- It suits a unit on a busy through-road like Park Street, which takes a lot of weather and traffic.
The panels were cut to size in our workshop and fitted on site, giving a crisp, modern sign that reads clearly to passing drivers and pedestrians.
On the entrance door, we applied etched window vinyl. Etch vinyl gives the look of sandblasted or frosted glass for a fraction of the cost. It adds a subtle, premium branded finish to the door. It also screens the view into the office while still letting natural light through, which matters for a business handling private conversations with clients and families.
The fascia and the door etch were designed together, so the branding is consistent from the roadside all the way to the front door.
The Result
GoodOaks now has a frontage that matches the professional, caring service they provide. The aluminium fascia gives the building a clear, confident presence on Park Street. The etched door adds a finished touch and gives the team privacy without making the office feel closed off. It shows how a solid fascia and a simple window treatment can completely lift a business frontage without a big or disruptive install.
