Over 100m of Site Fencing Banners for Stanmore College
The Brief
Stanmore College was in the middle of major building and renovation work, which left large parts of the campus surrounded by bare safety barriers and site fencing. The works were a sign of good things to come. In the meantime, though, the college looked like a building site to students, staff, parents and prospective learners. The college wanted the fencing covered with branded banners. The goal was to hide the works, keep the campus looking cared for, and make the most of the space by promoting the college while the renovation went on.
What We Did
Covering over 100 metres of fencing meant planning the job as one continuous run rather than a handful of separate banners. We measured the barrier runs across the site and produced the banners to fit each section. The branding and messaging lines up and flows along the fence line instead of looking patched together.
All printing was done in-house on our 3.2m-wide large format printer. We could produce long lengths with fewer joins, and turn the full run around quickly without outsourcing any of it. Each banner was finished with eyelets along the edges for secure fixing to the barriers. We made sure the banners were set up to cope with wind and exposed conditions, which matters on a long run of fencing on an open site.
Our team then fitted the banners on site, working around the ongoing construction activity. Every section was fixed tightly and evenly, so the finished run looks neat and professional and stays that way for the length of the works, instead of sagging or flapping loose after the first windy week.
The Result
What had looked like an active building site now presents as a branded, cared-for campus. Students and visitors are greeted by clean, consistent college branding rather than bare metal fencing. The college also has over 100 metres of high-visibility space promoting itself while the works go on. It shows how temporary site fencing can be turned from an eyesore into a useful piece of marketing during a renovation.
